BUSS Ministry
The Bring yoU to Sunday School provides an outreach to families that may not have transportation to church. We currently have 3 BUSS Routes and 1 Van Route.
AWANA
AWANA is an international, Bible-centered youth organization providing weekday clubs and programs for three-year-olds through high schoolers. The acrostic AWANA comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15). Gateway Baptist Church has its AWANA on Wednesday night starting at 7:00 P.M. The evening is divided into three sections. - Game time - Handbook time - Council and award time. Awana is broken down into clubs: Cubbies - AGES 3 TO 5 Sparks - Kindergarten through Second Grade. Pals are boys, 3rd through 4th grade. Chums are girls, 3rd through 4th grade. Guards are girls, 5th through 6th grade. Pioneers are boys, 5th through 6th grade. Jr. Varsity (JV) are 7th and 8th graders. Varsity are high schoolers.
