Our Mission
The Mission of St. Paul Lutheran Church is to follow the command of our Lord Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations. Our ministry in pursuit of this mission is to offer our people the very best in Bible Study, worship, Christian Education and other activities that present the message of salvation in Jesus Christ.
Midweek Classes Begin In August
St. Paul Midweek School will begin meeting on Wednesday, August 27, 1997. Classes begin with a Pre-Confirmation program with students in grades 3 and 4. Our confirmation preparation classes begin at the 5th grade level and continue until 8th grade, at which time there is a Questioning of our confirmands and a Confirmation Worship Service. The Midweek Program uses the following curiculum: Pre-Confirmation Classes - Level 1 (3rd Grade): Bible Stories (Emphasis: Old Testament) - Level 2 (4th Grade): Bible Stories (Emphasis: New Testament) Confirmation Classes - Level 1 (5th Grade): In-depth Bible Study (Beginning Life of Jesus) - Level 2 (6th Grade): In-depth Bible Study (Life of Jesus and the Early Church) - Level 3 (7th Grade): History of the Early Church to the Present Day. - Level 4 (8th Grade): In-Depth catechetical instruction from Luther's Small Catechism. As you can see, it's a very well-rounded program designed to supple- ment the teaching that is done at home through Bible devotions, time in worship as a family and Sunday School attendance.
