We welcome you to any of the churches on the Charge.
Carsley was founded in 1811 and is the oldest active Methodist church in Surry County. They have a strong Sunday School and many others events of fellowship. You will feel welcomed at Carsley, it has a real country flair! They have Sunday School each week and worship on 2nd Sunday at 11:15 (communion Sunday), 3rd Sunday at 8:45, and 4th Sunday at 10.
Dendron is a small church located in the town of Dendron, Virginia. This church has a rich history and continues to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord! Stop by, you will love it! They have Sunday School each week and worship on 2nd Sunday at 10 and 4th Sunday at 9.
Oak Grove is also called Chappel Bottom Church. It sits on a little hill off the main highway. It is a friendly and loving church that welcomes you each Sunday! They have Sunday School each week and worship on the 1st and 3rd Sunday's of each month at 10.
Surry is located in the town of Surry. It is a strong church with many events of fellowship taking place all the time. They have the BEST choir around. Stop by and listen and feel right at home. Surry has Sunday School each week and worship on the 1st (communion Sunday), 3rd and 4th Sunday's at 11:15.
On fifth Sunday's each church rotates in hosting the worship service for the charge!
