We are part of the international Church of God in Christ, headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee, Bishop Gilbert Earl Patterson is current Presiding Bishop of this 7.5 million member worldwide ministry. Our ministry is based on biblical excellence that lives be transformed, and the body of Christ be edified by the power of the word of God according to Eph. 4:12. We are a church that's compassionate in our love, excellent in our service and Holy living is a way of life. The SANDERS TEMPLE CHURCH FAMILY is excited because the Lord has blessed us to see our 50th year in ministry. Please come and be a part of this great celebration of fifty (50) years in ministry at our Golden Jubiliee Celebration Banquet, Saturday, August 31, 2002. Tickets for this grand affair is $100.00/VIP tickets $125.00. Then on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at 11:00 a.m., will be our Golden Jubilee Celebration of Worship. Also, mark your calendars for the Golden Jubilee Reunion Choir Concert, Sun. August 11, 2002, at 4:30p.m., under the direction of our Minister of Music, Elder Vincent Harris, Sr.. We shall always remember our beloved founder, Pastor and Supt. JAMES L. SANDERS. We also celebrate and honor our illustrious founders wife, DR. IDA M. SANDERS, who is yet a faithful supporter and attendee within our worship experience at Sanders Temple church. She is yet holding the helm of Jurisdictional Supervisor in the Women's Department of Indiana Second, Bishop Benjamin A. Sanders, Jurisdictional Prelate. Again, come and be a part of our 50th year long celebration. Thank God for his grace that abounds (1952 - 2002).
