Old Landmark COGIC is the most exciting and exhuberant church you will find anywhere!
Our theme is: "Proclaiming the Age-Old Message in a New Day: Today, 2000, and Beyond"
Old Landmark Church is a weekly growing congregation of approximately
122 families, established in the home of Pastor and Mrs.Amos in September of 1990 with 11 family members. Since that the church has outgrown its sanctuary and has plans to add a new worship auditorium. Our Church reflects the Landmark Heritage of Pentecostalism, while emphasizing the ability of the Power of God to HEAL the SOCIAL DISEASES of this day. We aim directly at the primary enemies of our day: Addiction, Depression, Illiteracy, Promiscuity, Low Self-esteem (which leads to self-abuse, abortion, marital discord and divorce) etc.
We are truly a Hand-Clapping, Tongue Talking, Pentecostal Church Of God In Christ who places all emphasis on "what the Word of God says, and NOT on what it does not say". Our church is a multi-ethnic, warm and loving congregation with persons of all walks of life, economic statures, religious backgrounds and varying talents. Although we don't all dress alike, nor talk alike, nonetheless, we are all one in Christ!

Old Landmark can be heard weekly in the Northeastern Indiana area on radio station 1250AM, at 11:00am Sundays. Please tune in Pastor Amos has a word from the Lord for you.
Our Pastor: Superintendent Elton Amos, M.D.
There are only a few men like our Pastor anywhere in the WORLD.
Look at this: He is a PRACTICING physician in Fort Wayne, with
a large and thriving Family Practice, established in 1987.
Dr. Amos is Pastor and Founder of the Old Landmark COGIC of Fort Wayne,IN (established 9/90);he is the Founder of the Old Landmark COGIC of Warsaw, IN (established 4/93) the first COGIC congregation and also the first predominately African-American Congregation in that city.
Our Pastor worked with Elder Wilbert Turner to establish the first
COGIC congregation of Defiance, Ohio; he is also the District Superintendent of the Nehemiah District Churches of the First Jurisdiction of Indiana; is a member of the Ordination Board of the
First Jurisdiction of Indiana, and Chairman of the "Aflame Conference"
which is Indiana's premier COGIC Leadership Conference.
Although busy as Superintendent, Dr. Amos is happily married, a father
of three children, and a greatly anointed Gospel Preacher who travels speaking in conferences and churches across this nation. He gives
hope and inspiration to thousands who are excited to see and hear a
family man, and a professional who does not compromise the Gospel.
Our Pastor most recently led the Old Landmark Church into the purchase of 11.48 acres in our city, with a vision to provide a community center that will provide education, religious training, and economic development.
