Mission Statement
The Salvation Army in Southport is part of the Universal Christian Church. Our purpose is to: Share the good news of Jesus Christ and encourage others to believe in Him; Welcome others into our fellowship; Reach out into our community with Christian love and a practical concern.
Our regular activities include:
Sunday 8.30am Prayer Breakfast (first Sunday in the month) 10.30am Family Worship Service (creche facilities available) 12 noon Adventurers (for children aged 3-6 & 7-12) 13+ Group Open air Service 6.00pm Praise & Worship Service 8.00pm Youth Fellowship Monday 1.45pm Home & Family Fellowship 6.30pm Brownies & Guides 8.00pm YB SAD (Youth Bible Fellowship) Tuesday 1.15pm Scallywags (Parent & Tot Group) 7.30pm Scouts 7.45pm Home & Family Fellowship Evening (first Tuesday in the month) 8.00pm Prayer & Bible Fellowship Wednesday 1.45pm Over 60's Club Fellowship 6.30pm Young Peoples' Band rehearsal 8.00pm Songster rehearsal Thursday 6.30pm Singing Company rehearsal 8.00pm Senior Band rehearsal Friday 6.30pm Beavers & Cubs
