WHAT ABOUT FAITH FAMILY CHURCH?
FAITH FAMILY CHURCH was founded on Oct.2 1994 in a hotel ballroom in Knoxville Tn. Since that begining FFC has shown steady growth and is truly impacting Knoxville with the Word of God. We moved to our current location on Randolph St., between 5th and Magnolia, in Oct. of 1996. The Holy Spirit has moved powerfully in our services as we proclaim the Word of Faith. Our purpose here at F.F.C. is five fold. 1. Harvest. To reach the lost in Knoxville and East Tennessee. 2. The World. Missions is the Heartbeat of God. 3. To Train. To teach and train believers. 4. To Fill. The church is to be a place for believers to come get recharged, to do the work of the ministry. 5. Family. A place of ministry for the whole family. In Sept. of 1997, we launched Supernatural Ministries Training Institute. S.M.T.I is a video institute which is produced by Mark Barclay Ministries, in Midland, MI. It's purpose is to help believers find and fill there place in the Body of Christ. There are three separate years offerred, each with its own certificate of completion. That allows a prospective student to not feel overwhelmed by having to sign up for 3 years of school. If the student only feels like they only need or want to take 1 year, that is perfectly acceptable as well. The courses offered in S.M.T.I. are: 1. Supernatural Helps 2. Ministerial Practicalities 3. Advanced Survival Techniques
MEET PASTOR OSBURN
Pastor Darren Osburn was born and raised in Forest Grove Oregon. He is ordained and liscensed through Rhema Ministerial Association, and Victory Fellowship Church in Nashville TN. Pastor Osburn graduated from Christ For The Nations Institute, in Dallas Tx, with an Associate of Practical Theology, and a certificate of Advanced Biblical Studies. Following C.F.N.I., he attended Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, where he graduated in 1992. Pastor Osburn also is a graduate of Supernatural Ministries Training Institute, which is affiliated with Mark Barclay Ministries. He has preached extensively across the U.S. and Canada, and moved here in 1994 with his wife, Shelley, and family to pioneer F.F.C., and to reach the world from Knoxville.
