Statement of Faith
Hampton Roads Community Church is a congregation of Christians who believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. We believe in God, the Creator of all things; the Deity of Jesus Christ; His virgin birth; His substitutionary death for the sins of men and His bodily resurrection. We believe in the forgiveness of sins through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and that all who believe become members of His Church; that Christ is coming again to rapture the living saints and raise the dead in Christ; later to establish His kingdom upon earth. We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, and in His indwelling and empowering of the believer.
Philosophy of Ministry Statement
Hampton Roads Community Church is a fellowship dedicated to: Evangelism - the sharing of the good news of eternal life; Edification - the encouragement and support of those in the fellowship; Celebration active, participatory worship by all in the fellowship; Service - the freedom of every believer to exercise their spiritual gift as the Spirit equips, enables and leads.
