Who We Are & The Things We Do

Koke Mill Christian Church exists as a local congregation to serve and glorify God by witnessing to our neighbors and to the world of God's love revealed in His Son, Jesus Christ. Koke Mill Christian Church is a non-denominational Christian Church. We have no official ties to any other group but enjoy a voluntary fellowship and cooperate freely with other churches around the world that come from the same faith tradition. We believe God has uniquely equipped each member of His Church and each local Christian congregation for ministry. We are part of what is being called evangelical Christianity. In our faith and practice we lean toward the Charismatic expression of the Christian faith. We desire to do our part in keeping the Church united in Spirit and free to enjoy its diversity. The ministry of our church is organized into several areas, each is led by a Ministry Team. Our teams include: Missions Celebration Worship Christian Education Building & Grounds Leadership Our worship service begins at 10:00 a.m., typically lasting until 11:30 a.m. Please enjoy coffee and refreshments and meet some new friends after the service. We have four Home Groups meeting during the week: John & Shelly Lovell's group is studying the Book of John; John & Sue Mangiaracina's group is studying Ephesians; Young Adults are meeting at Tim & Lisa Hunt's home; and learn to Pray God's Word with Ron Wampler & Marlene Marshall. Petah Tikvah, a Messianic congregation, meets at our building on Saturday mornings at 10:00 a.m.

Our Vision

To reach out especially to those who do not have an authentic faith in Jesus and to those believers who do not have a church home. To support missions with a special emphasis on reaching the unreached peoples. To provide opportunities for spiritual growth of believers (Sunday morning teaching, home discipleship and Bible study groups) and their fellowship (weekly celebration service and home prayer groups). OUR VALUES 1. We will strive to take all stumbling blocks out of the way of the lost people so they have a chance to stumble over Christ (1 Peter 2:8). 2. We will continue to invest in activities that benefit our community, support selected missions, and take an active part in missionary outreach. 3. We will individually commit to personal spiritual growth to maturity and encourage others to take the same step. We have participated in three short-term mission trips to Juarez, Mexico to build houses for families living in cardboard houses, working in conjunction with Missions Ministries of Littleton, Colorado and COMMIT Ministries of Waianae, Hawaii. We sent two of our members in January 2000 for two weeks to the Northwest Haiti Christian Mission in St-Louis-du-Nord, Haiti to serve the poor and the lost in an community where voodoo has a hold on many people. They saw God work in many ways through the ministries there. Our pastor visited China on a short-term mission trip in 1997 to support new Christians there. We have an annual church retreat in the fall. We believe God has plans to use the Lewis Memorial Acres park adjacent to our property to reach out to the community in unique ways! We would love to have you join us!!!
