Who is Lighthouse
COMMUNITY CHURCH: Lighthouse is not here to provide a presence for any movement, denomination, or theological point of view. Our only aim is to represent Jesus Christ, our desire is to provide an atmosphere for the whole community to cultivate and express their faith in Him. EVANGELICAL CHURCH: We hold firmly to the fundamentals of the Biblical faith as expressed in the reformation: - *Faith alone justifies us before God, the Bible alone is our authority for faith and practice, and that salvation comes by the grace of God alone.* INDEPENDENT CHURCH: We do not belong to any denomination. We are self sustained. We are not anti-denomination however, if some day we feel that we can better serve the Lord in a denomination, or association of like faith, we would be willing.
Mission Statement
The mission of Lighthouse Baptist Church of Madison is to equip believers for ministry that is: UPWARD- in Worship and Prayer INWARD- in Discipleship and Fellowship OUTWARD- in Evangelism and Missions FORWARD- in Serving our community, lifting high the Lord Jesus Christ in the ministry of Love.
