Haven Of Hope Outreach
The Greater Light Christian Center (GLCC)has become a "Haven of Hope" in the northeast section of Reno which historically was known as the "Hood". GLCC was established as a local ministry on June 2, 1989, through the leadership of Pastor Glenn E. Taylor, Sr. GLCC's Outreach Ministries include several programs which address domestic violence, HIV/AIDS Prevention, jail ministry,gang outreach and substance abuse. GLCC's motto states " For Me To Fail, Impossible. For You To Fail, Impossible." "Nay, In All These Things, We Are More Than Conquers Through Him Who Loved Us."(Romans 8:37) We believe every man and woman is a potential "Mighty Man" and "Mighty Woman" of God.
GLCC Inreach
GLCC's Inreach Ministries consist of the Welcome & Hospitality Ministries,New Membership Orientation Ministry,Christian Education Ministry, Mighty Men and Mighty Women Of God Ministry, Haven Of Hope Performing Arts Ministries, Safe Embrace Shelter and the Dominion Praise and Worship Ministries. Each ministry addresses a need within the church and community at-large.
