CHURCH HISTORY
THE HOUSE OF GOD CHURCH WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1903 BY MOTHER MARY L. TATE. THE FULL NAME OF THE CHURCH CAN BE FOUND IN THE HOLY BIBLE IN I TIM. 3:15. LOCAL ASSEMBLIES OF THIS CHURCH CAN BE FOUND ACROSS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND OTHER COUNTRIES. THE NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS IS LOCATED IN NASHVILLE, TENN, THE PRESIDING BISHOP AND CHIEF OVERSEER IS DR. JAMES C. ELLIOTT. THIS ORGANIZATION MEETS EVERY JUNE IN NASHVILLE, TENN., FOR ITS INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION.
