Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the only and infallible Word of God. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Gen. 1:1; Matt. 28:19; John 10:30. We believe in the absolute regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved into the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. John 5:28,29. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord, Jesus Christ. Rom. 8:9; 1Cor. 12:12-13; Gal. 3:26-28. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling of the Christian, is enabled to live a godly life. Rom.8:13,14; 1 Cor. 3:16;6:19-20; Eph. 4:30;5:18. The Calvary Chapel Church has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His Love(agape), which is greater than any differences we posess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians. We are not a denominational Church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only their over emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ. We make no distinction concerning a persons race or ethnic background, because we acknowledge that there can be no preferential treatment with God. Rom. 2:11 We are bound to teach and preach the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior,Jesus Christ, according to the Word of God(the Bible) if we are to carry out the Great Commision. Matt. 28:18. We do not endorse the World or National council of Churches, or any international, regional, or local organizations which give recognition to non-believers or advocate multi-faith union.
Vision Statement

Hab. 2:2 Our directive and purpose at Calvary Chapel Old Bridge is to: Win a person to Jesus Christ; As many as recieved Him to them He gave the power to become the children of God. John 1:12 Disciple a person in Jesus Christ; The purpose of the local church is to equip believers for the work of the ministry. Eph. 4:12 Send a person for Jesus Christ; To train maturing believers to respond to God's calling and enabling, thus, encouraging them to go forth and serve as He directs.
