Who Are We?
Welcome to the Crellin Charge UMC Web Page.
The Crellin Charge consists of four small country churches:
White, Kurtz Chapel, Deer Park and Crellin.
These churches are situated in the eastern part of beautiful Garrett County
Maryland. Each church hosts a Sunday School hour each Sunday for people
of all age levels and Summer Vacation Bible Schools. Worship is informal
and dress is casual--t-shirts and jeans--are fine.
Our beliefs are based on the Bible first and United Methodist Discipline and
doctrine second. We invite everyone to come and worship, learn, and fellowship with us.
Youth Ministries
Our youth ministry strives to involve youth from 6th grade-age 21 in the ministries
of the church. Our most popular ministry is our clown troupe. We participate and perform in worship
services, youth camps, revival services, special events, parades,nursing homes and
children's homes. The Youth ministry is open to all local youth regardless of denomination.
Each fall Pastor Susan hosts a workshop on Christian clowning, preparing skits and applying
clown make-up and costume.
