But that's only for starters...
We start with worship (see above) but venture forth into many other fields.
We have many house/prayer/fellowship group meetings - something to suit most tastes. And many organisations, such as MU (3 branches - all age groups).
We offer toddlers' services, Sunday School, Sunday Club, and High Spirits for our youngsters upto about age 16 , and are working hard to improve facilities and input for them.
But we don't forget the elderly. A luncheon club is organised for the elderly and virtually housebound, each Tuesday lunchtime, and from time to time entertainment is laid on for them as well.
Basically, we enjoy our Christianity, which is lively but thought provoking.
We've just finished the active phase of our Stewardship Programme, and are looking forward to collating and acting upon the results. Our first priority is to enable our people to grow spiritually. But we shall enjoy anything which arises as a by-product of that.

History of St. Andrew's
St. Andrew's is a medieval church, the only one in the city of Norwich to retain its thatched roof. There has been a church on the site for over 1,000 years, and parts of the church still date from the 13th. century, although the church has often been altered to meet the needs of the people. Since the old church seats only about 80 people, a spacious, modern worship area was built onto the existing church, and opened in 1992. Now 10.00am services are usually held in the new part of the church, and 8.00am and 6.30pm services are usually held in the old part of the church.
In the middle of the last century, a daughter church, Christ Church, was built at the other end of the parish. The foundation stone was laid in 1872, and the new church finally dedicated in November 1873. Christ Church is a large Victorian building, built in the then popular 13th century French Gothic style. Again, it has been altered from time to time since then, to meet the changing needs of the people, and hopefully will soon be refurbished, to take account of the increasing needs of our families.
The parish of Eaton has grown from a tiny hamlet, 1,000 years ago, to a city suburb with about 15,000 inhabitants - so worship now is quite different to what it was in the beginning!
Both our churches are set apart for prayer and worship in a busy community. Unusually for a city church, they are both open every day throughout daylight hours, so that people can drop in whenever they wish to worship and to pray. Do check us out if you're visiting Norwich, we'd love to see you.
