The Evangelical Anglican Church in America, or EACA, is a progressive, independent, affirming and inclusive jurisdiction of the Anglican tradition of faith and of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Its distinctive ministry and mission is to reach out to those disenfranchised by traditional Christendom on account of gender, race, sexual orientation or other social status.
What is the Church of Saint Aelred
The Church of Saint Aelred is a planned mission parish of the EACA, organized to serve its geographic community in the area of Montclair/Bloomfield, in Essex County, New Jersey, USA. Presently (Spring 1996) the parish is a provisional mission parish, for which an organizational committee is in place. We seek others with whom to form a parish community/family, and look forward to all inquiries.
