The Antwerp Council of Churches

The Antwerp Council of Churches (Antwerpse Raad van Kerken) is a community of Churches, who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour in accordance with Holy Scripture.
The Council seeks to realise her common vocation in honour of the One God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit: A vocation to respond to Our Lord's Prayer "That they all be one" in witness and in service.

The Council covers the whole of Greater Antwerp, the adjacent Voorkempen region, and Turnhout.

The Ecumenical Process for Reconciliation & Forgiveness has an active steering group in Flanders co-ordinated by Pax Christi, Antwerpen. They prepare the local Churches and Christians for the 1997 Conference of the Council of European Churches, to be held in Graz, Austria.
