We are the Church of Christ of Mt. Vernon, Ky. Were located just off West Main on Old Somerset Rd. just before HWY 461. We are a Conservative and Non-Institutional Church devoted to the true teachings of or Lord Jesus Christ as he set forth in the New Testament.

    Our little Church has suffered gravely in the past few years because we won't bend to the will of the larger Liberal Institutional Churches in the area that teach the Law of Moses on Divorce. We preach and teach the Law acording to the Christ in the New Testament on Divorce, No Exception!!

    As a body our numbers are small but strong in our faith and belief. We hold Sunday morning worship at 10:00am. If you hunger for the truth and in our area, please feel to join us to here the word of or Lord in its pure form without "Mans" corrections to its meaning.

How do we differ from the other
Church of Christ
in this area?

First and foremost we only teach under the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, meaning we neither add to or take away from the word of our Lord to bring in new members, to justify a sinful life style or to alter the role and purpose of the Church.
