Who We Are

West Jordan Community Church was started in the suburbs of Salt Lake City by a team of people on Easter Sunday of 2000. We meet at a rented facility on Sundays and in homes during the week. Pastor Lance was originally ordained at Abbott Loop Christian Center in Anchorage, Alaska in 1976. He and his family have been involved in planting churches since then. They ministered in Montana and Washington before serving as missionaries in Mexico for 8 years. For several years they attended Salt Lake Christian Fellowship before starting the church in West Jordan.

Our Purpose

The purpose of West Jordan Community Church is to: Bring people to the Lord Jesus Christ and membership in His family, develop them to Christ-like maturity, equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world and magnify God's name according to the Word of God, by every means possible.
