The Sons of Allen has since been organized and is at work in every Annual Conference and Presiding Elder District of the Seventh Episcopal District. The organization at its various levels has engaged in a wide range of activities, including:<BR><BR>* Leadership in annual Local Church Men's celebrations<BR><BR>* Sponsorship of workshops on such topics as men's health, substance abuse and spirituality<BR><BR>* Cooperative Mission activities with organizations ranging from the Women's Missionary Societies of the AME Church to Habitat for Humanity<BR><BR>* Sponsorship of voter registration and mobilization efforts.<BR><BR>* Support of the Women's Missionary Society's public school intervention and improvement program - Missionary Advocates for Kids.<BR><BR>Working with the young men of the church through Scouting, mentoring, manhood training, recreation, church leadership training, and workshops covering subjects from peer pressure to auto repair.</B><br><br>For more information visit the website of the <A HREF=http://amesonsofallen.org>Connectional Sons of Allen</A> <br><br><hr><h3> WANT TO GET YOUR CHURCH INVOLVED?</h3> <B>Membership in the Sons of Allen is open to all men of the church.
