We believe that "the church" is a dynamic, integrated, complex body of believers bound togther in a beautiful fellowship of love sharing the hardships and trials of Christian life; supporting and exhorting one another; rejoicing in a relationship of deep devotion and worship of God, holding fast to our common values, and doing all this through the hope and love of Christ*." It shall be the mission of the University African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church to be that place where wounded soulds are healed, broken spirits are mended and Christ is freely offered. This we shall do as we grow warmer through fellowship, deep through discipleship, stronger through worship and larger through evangelism.
