Calvary Pentecostal Church is located at 56 LeMarchant Street, Carbonear, Newfoundland.

It is an affiliate of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland, and is presently pastored by:
Pastor Dale C. Mercer.

SCHEDULE OF SERVICES

Sunday:- 10.30 a.m. Pre-Service Prayer. 11.00 a.m. Morning Worship.
6.30 p.m. Pre-Service Prayer. 7.00 p.m. Evangelistic Service.

Monday:- 7.00 p.m. POWER Hour (pre-teen ministry)

Tuesday:- 7.30 p.m. Bible Study & Prayer Time

Wednesday:- 8.00 p.m. Women's Ministries and Men's Ministries
(alternating bi-weekly in season)

Thursday:-9.00 for 9.30 a.m. Adult Bible Study & Fellowship

Saturday:-6.00 p.m. Walk-in prayer time

In addition to the above schedule, we also minister on a regular monthly basis at the extended care facilities of
Harbour Lodge, and Inter Faith Home Carbonear, The Clarkes Beach Senior Citizens Home,
and the Charwood Legion Manor Retirement Complex in Carbonear.

There are, from time to time, various outreach activities which are organized and held,
such functions being publicized and promoted in the weekly church bulletin and in the available local media. The church ministers on a regular monthly basis at each of the local senior citizens and extended care homes.

Calvary Pentecostal Church,member of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador is committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ by preaching and teaching all the principles and truths of God's Word and influencing the community for righteousness. Empowered by the Holy Spirit,we serve God and the church family and we minister and witness in the world to the transforming power of God's love.

Statement of Faith

We Believe
the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
in the Blessed Hope - the Rapture of the Church at Christ's coming.
the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
in Water Baptism by immersion for believers according to Matthew 28:19
in observance of the Lord's Supper in remembrance of the death of our Lord as outlined in 1 Corinthians 11:23-32.
the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
the baptism of the Holy Spirit , according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
"Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
