Welcome to the Midway Church of Christ

Dear Friends:
We at the Midway Church of Christ invite you to visit our website, but more importantly our congregation when you are in our area. Our goal is to teach the Word of God and to live in righteouness according to His will so that we may see Heaven one day. We are the church you read about in the Bible, the church built by the Lord. We are non-instrumental, partake of the Lord's Supper each first day of the week, and are NOT a denomination. We invite you to contact us with any comments or questions that you may have. We at Midway believe in ALL of the inspired scripture; we believe in teaching the truth in love. We appreciate your interest in the Midway Church of Christ and hope to hear from you soon! EVERYONE is someone SPECIAL at the Midway Church of Christ!

God's Plan of Salvation/How To Be a Child of God

God has a plan of salvation; a specific way for a sinner to be saved from eternal death. Please study the following scripture so you may know the way of the Lord, our God.

(1) HEAR the Word (Bible) - "So faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" (Romans 10:17) (2) BELIEVE that Jesus is the Son of God - "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth" (Mark 9:23) (3) REPENT of your past sins - "Repent and be baptized everyone of you for the remission of sins......" (Acts 2:38) (4) CONFESS your belief in Jesus - "....and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10) (5) Be BAPTIZED into Christ - "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, he that is not shall be damned" (Mark 16:16) Are YOU saved by the blood of Christ? Are YOU a child of God?
