Our Statement

We see a revival of the Maynard United Methodist Church. We desire to be a spirit-filled, vibrantly alive church in our worship, belief, and actions. We shall worship God in spirit and truth, grow in the image of Christ, and invite others to join us on this journey of faith. We shall be connected to all others as we serve God and people as United Methodists. We shall be a Bible-based church using its wisdom while accepting that God loves all regardless of their specific beliefs or interpretations of the Old and New Testaments. We shall be an interdependent congregation, working together under God's guidance, to serve God and meet our goals. We shall nurture one another in Christian love. We shall endeavor to seek needs near and far. and follow Jesus example of humble service to all people.

Sunday School for all ages has resumed, and Worship service has moved to 10:30.

OUR INVITATION TO ALL

We invite you to visit our church. Normally, full communion is held the first Sunday with brief communion each week. A children's message is provided during the service. Nursery is provided. Contact us by telephone or e-mail if you'd like to know more.

Please consider lending your prayers & financial support to those affected by natural and human rights disasters, including the attacks on America. You can contribute through your local Methodist Church or directly through the The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). Their hotline page gives updates, links, and a toll-free number for credit card contibutions. UMCOR is coordinating financial relief as well as pastoral care for victims of the Sept. 11 Attacks.

Our children do a great job raising money for the The Heifer Project . Click on the link to learn about their work and how you can help. Another interesting link was provided by one of our members who saved one of God's creatures from slaughter by adopting a foal . We hope it proves to be a blessing to her!
