WITNESSING THE RESURRECTION . . .

"And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me" (Matt.29:9-10)

As the crowd at the cross witnessed the actual resurrection, we too need to witness it especially during this season:
Witnessing the Resurrection affirms the reality of resurrection
Witnessing the Resurrection gives witness to the Resurrection
Witnessing the Resurrection reminds us of the greatest witness: changed lives.

We are witnesses of the Resurrection as we experience His power and presence in our lives.

A PRAYER FOR PATIENCE
God, teach me to be patient ---
Teach me to go slow ---
Teach me how to "wait on You"
When my way I do not know . . .
Teach me sweet forbearance
When things do not go right
so I remain unruffled
When others grow uptight . . .
Teach me how to quiet
My racing, rising heart
So I may hear the answer
