These form the foundation of the worship experience as we celebrate the resurrected Christ and the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Our central focus is experiencing God.</P> </FONT><B><FONT FACE="Tahoma" COLOR="#ff0000"><P>PRAYER</P> </B></FONT><FONT FACE="Tahoma"><P>Prayer is the life of every believer's relationship with God. Our prayer theme is <B>PUSH</B> - <B><U>P</B></U>ray <B><U>U</B></U>ntil <B><U>S</B></U>omething <B><U>H</B></U>appens. We encourage believers to take an active role in personal and corporate prayer.</P> </FONT><B><FONT FACE="Tahoma" COLOR="#ff0000"><P>STEWARDSHIP</P> </B></FONT><FONT FACE="Tahoma"><P>The Bible is clear about our responsibility to be faithful stewards of God's possessions. Through regular giving, believers are given the opportunity to invest in the work of the kingdom.</P> </FONT><B><FONT FACE="Tahoma" COLOR="#ff0000"><P>DISCIPLESHIP</P> </B></FONT><FONT FACE="Tahoma"><P>A mature disciple is growing and developing in the Word and their walk. We will offer learning experiences at every stage of spiritual growth.</P> </FONT><B><FONT FACE="Tahoma" COLOR="#ff0000"><P>EVANGELISM</P> </B></FONT><FONT FACE="Tahoma"><P>Believers impact the world through personal evangelism. Both their lifestyle and witness are a living testimony to the transforming work of Christ.</P> </FONT><B><FONT FACE="Tahoma" COLOR="#ff0000"><P>BODY CARE</P> </B></FONT><FONT FACE="Tahoma"><P>Through Small Groups, we will better minister to the needs within the Body. Also, we will respond to tragedy and hurt, bringing compassion and assistance. This is the "shepherd's touch" of South Lake Worship Center.</P> <br><br><hr><h3> DO YOU BELIEVE…?</h3> </FONT><FONT FACE="Tahoma"><P>Do you believe in what God is doing throughout the world? For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." Neither is God. He will not let us be what we want to be… we must conform to His plan and purpose. WE CAN NOT STAY WHERE WE ARE AND GO WITH GOD.</P> <P>God has given our church a vision to impact our community (Northwest Indiana) and to reach the lost through every available means, including the Internet. We have dedicated ourselves to continue to do this!</P> <P>Our mission statement says that we are committed to:</P> <P>"TO MAKE MORE AND BETTER DISCIPLES"</P> <P>"More" is the Great Commission… "Better" is the Great Commandment.</P> <P>VISION 1999 AND BEYOND is a challenge set before South Lake Worship Center that is vital if we are to continue to fulfill our mission commitment.</P> <P ALIGN="CENTER"><HR></P> </FONT><B><FONT FACE="Tahoma" COLOR="#ff0000"><P>1999</B></FONT><FONT FACE="Tahoma"> - because the closing of this year will usher in a new millennium and, as a church body, we are committed to continue to impact our community into the 21<SUP>st</SUP> century.
