The jails are fertile grounds for the gospel and we're looking to connect with
other vibrant ministries to share encouragement, ideas and prayer.
Lifegate covers street ministry, counselling, a training school coffee shop
and healing house in addition to the work in jails. We are non denominational
with representatives from nearly all our local denominations!

A seed remains a seed until it is planted

Ps Hector Marquez says we all receive a "seed" of faith when we are saved. and it will remain a seed until we "plant" it. The former notorious Argentenian criminal was turned around by God to create a church of 1,200 in his jail, (and so begin the revival in his cournty).
Ps Hector says just as a seed must be planted to grow and reproduce, so it is with our faith. "We must put it in action in order to see it grow" he told his audience of Australian Christian leaders and lay people. Hector was speaking at a prison, street and counselling ministries conference organised by Lifegate Inc and associated ministries in Melbourne Australia which began on
October 21.
