Bishop Milton Hall is the second eldest son of the late Elder and Mrs. Lewis
J. Hall. He is married to the former Julia Mae Watson and they are the proud parents of
Milton L., Jr., Lewis Jerone, and Joyce.
Having been trained by godly
parents he learned the importance of a life committed to Christ, and in 1949
committed his life to the Lord. He accepted the call to the gospel ministry in
1949 and was ordained in 1958.
Bishop Hall has been a dedicated servant
who has served in many civic and church related activities. His civic concerns
are service on both the Citizens Housing and the Mayor’s Advisory Committees of
the city of Kokomo, Indiana. His church service has been extensive and varied. He served
religiously, before becoming Prelate as State Sunday School Chairman, State
Chariman of Public Relations, and Administrative Assistant to the Bishop W.O. Blakely. He
served the national church faithfully as a member of the National Constitutional
Committee and the National Renovation Committee for National Church Properties.
Bishop Hall has served as Interim-pastor at six churches in Indiana. He built New New Bethany Church in Marion, Indiana, where he served as pastor from 1968 until 1982.
He presently serves as Pastor of the Grace Memorial Church of God in Christ, in
Kokomo, Indiana.
The First Jurisdiction of Indiana has been well served
by Bishop Hall. Under his visionary leadership the jurisdiction has grown
spiritually and financially. His “Open Door” Policy has given many the
opportunity to come to him and discuss their concerns. He has also given
opportunities to many who may not have had such an opportunity, to come forth
and minister in the state Minister’s and Worker’s Meeting and in the Holy
Convocation.
His leadership has established and reorganized ministries in
the jurisdiction that are excelling such as Scholastical Motivation, the State
Leadership Conference, and the Young Men’s Christian Council.
Bishop
Hall is the God anointed and appointed Prelate that God is using to lead Indiana
into the 21st Century.
