What Makes Wednesday So Wonderful?
- YOU! and others who gather at St. Timothy on Wednesday evenings.
What's to eat?
- A good Lutheran question! Each week a group of volunteers prepare a
meal for Wonderful Wednesday participants. We generally serve from 5:30
p.m. to 6:15 (ish). The menu is different weekly and is selected by the
volunteer kitchen staff preparing the meal. Bring the whole family!
What About Adult Activities?
- We have both 60 and 70 minute courses for adults. The courses include:
- Bible study
- History
- Theology
- Relationships
- Practical classes
- Marriage and family enrichment
What Is There To Do For Children and Youth
- It depends on their age!
- Birth to four year olds, there is a fully staffed nursery.
- Kindergarten, first and second graders attend the Voyager Pioneer Club.
- Third, fourth, and fifth graders attend the Pathfinders Pioneers.
(The "Pioneers" are a national Christian activity which resemble
scouting in many ways).
- Youth, middle school and above, have their own "coffee house"
with fun and interesting activities every night. In addition to doing things
at the church on Wednesday evenings, they will have an occasional field
trip.

Do We Have Worship Services Every Wednesday Night?
- YES! Every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. the adults gather in the sanctuary
for an evening service. We use Contemporary Worship Service materials and
Hymnals and our regular evening worship includes hymns, scripture, liturgy
and a brief sermon. We are especially glad that we can offer this to those
people who work on Sunday mornings an have few opportunities of weekly
worship. For the rest of us, it gives us an opportunity for worship as
well as the opportunity of worshipping in a different format. It is more
informal and casual and we hope that you will become a part of these special
Wednesday night services.
Is There Singing?
- Oh YES there is! In addition to having the opportunities for
everyone to sing at worship at 7:30 p.m., our three choirs rehearse on
Wednesdays.
- The Children's Choir is for Kindergarten through fifth grade. It rehearses
in cooperation with the Pioneer schedule so that the children can participate
in both the Pioneers and the Children's Choir.
- The Youth Choir for middle and high school students. It is also a part
of youth night activities.
- The Chancel Choir for adults is from 8:00-9:00 p.m. It begins its rehearsal
when Wonderful Wednesday ends (at 8:00 p.m.) Our nursery stays open during
the Chancel Choir rehearsal till 9:00 p.m.
